STUDIO LINEN Eco

Our popular Studio Linen by Erika Knight has been slightly updated and is now even more sustainable! Studio Linen Eco features 30% Linen and 70% Tencel.

Tencel is a cellulose fiber made from wood, sourced from responsibly managed forests. The production process uses a closed-loop system, where water and solvents are almost entirely recycled.

Tencel is slightly softer than the viscose previously used, which is why we’ve increased the amount of premium linen from 15% to 30%. The result: in a blind test, the new Studio Linen Eco is indistinguishable from its predecessor! The gauge, stitch definition, and feel of the fabric are all the same—only now, it’s even more sustainable!

Linen is derived from the flax plant, a highly sustainable crop that requires no irrigation or pesticides. Almost the entire plant is used, further reducing its environmental impact.

The yarn stands out with its timeless look and versatile qualities: elegant, classic, smooth, and cool against the skin. The subtle color palette enhances its sophisticated appearance and offers plenty of room for creative designs – whether it’s intricate patterns, clean lines, or luxurious details.

The colors will be gradually updated, and the old and new shades can be easily combined.
